Skills, knowledge and experience
BSc in Computer Science preferred (or equivalent qualifications and experience as a Software Developer will be considered).
A genuine passion for Software Engineering is essential, as is commitment and drive to be successful.
Demonstrable coding skills and an understanding of the necessities of cross-browser production.
Experience with TypeScript (JavaScript) and JavaScript libraries to create rich interactive content would be beneficial.
Experience of PHP backend development would be beneficial.
Experience with Postgres / Oracle would be beneficial.
Experience with NodeJS (Express, redis, AWS services).
Experience/knowledge of working with web technologies such as HTML5 and deploying solutions across responsive, cross platform devices/browsers.
Experience in working in sprints.
Must be organised, able to work to deadlines and complete any learning and development as required.
Maintain a good level of awareness of the industry and trends, particularly regarding development.
Keep abreast of usability standards and emerging technologies.
Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills.
Must have meticulous attention to detail.
